The Beach Boys – That’s Why God Made the Radio Vinyl LP (2012)

That’s Why God Made the Radio is the 29th studio album by The Beach Boys, released in 2012 to mark the band’s 50th anniversary. The album reunited Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks and Bruce Johnston for a new collection of songs that blends the group’s classic California pop sound with reflective themes of radio, summer, friendship and growing older. Its title track, “That’s Why God Made the Radio,” celebrates the lasting connection between music and memory, while the album’s closing suite offers a more contemplative, harmonically rich finale. On vinyl LP, this release is a fitting addition for Beach Boys collectors and fans of the band’s later-era recordings. This album has only been played once or twice and is in like new condition. Judging by the sales on a well know auction site (currently) this album is a hot item.
